My sister and I have always been best friends so it just seemed natural that one day we would go into business with each other. I love that I can trust her with anything and that she knows all my skills and weaknesses so all in all I’d say we make a pretty unstoppable team.
We both love to bake and always have so it’s nice that we get to spend all day every day doing what we love. We started our small cupcake shop at the start of the craze and we’ve over time morphed it into a more traditional bakery to keep up with changing tastes.
I did all the research on things like small business xo and food permits and things like that and Kelsey was more into the décor and the recipes and dealing with the PR – that’s great though since it’s the best division of labor between us and we were able to totally divide and conquer.
I love her so much and I’m so glad we’re partners!
